The Montecristo Double Edmundo delivers more of the signature Montecristo body and taste than any Montecristo cigars that have come before.
Montecristo Double Edmundo Overview
With the exceptions of the pyramid shape Montecristo No. 2 and lengthy Montecristo “A”, really big cigars were mostly absent from the regular Montecristo lineup. The Robusto-size Edmundo was launched in 2004 to satisfy the demand for larger ring gauge cigars. The Petite Edmundo followed, paving the way for the longer 6.1” x 50 Double Edmundo.
Cuba’s Vuelta Abajo region of the Pinar del Rio province provides the tobacco for Montecristo Double Edmundo. The larger size means the richness and complexity of the tobaccos have more time to evolve during the smoke, making for an experience that offers more body, more taste, and just more of everything. It’s intense and not for beginners, but that’s part of the appeal to many.

AmazingJust received my latest order from Swiss Cubans. Full box Monte Double Edmundo's. Took about a month due to delays with Australian customs (no fault of Swiss Cubans) but cigars arrived as usual well packed and humidified and in tip top condition. Was amazed at both the price and happy to see all authentic Habanos seals in place. As a bonus Box codes are RUM MAY 2018, so near 5years of age to boot! Smell sensational with dark chocolate wrappers. Letting rest for now but can't wait to try.
