Smoking a Vegas Robaina Unicos
A Unico is perfectly constructed, firm, and springy to the touch. It has a beautiful milk-chocolate color with a slight buttery sheen. Vegas Robaina is responsible for growing the finest wrapper tobacco on the planet and there’s luxury to how this cigar feels in your hand.
Pre-draw flavors are prominently leather and wood. The cigar lights well and burns evenly throughout.
The first third produces lots of white, billowy smoke and reveals creaminess with hints of soil and chocolate. The middle third has even more smoke, and all the creamy, leathery, spicy, and sweet flavors come to the forefront.
The cigar finishes with a flourish with a note of soft walnut wood and cereal. The whole heady experience takes up to two hours.

The Unicos, although milder than other torpedoes out of Habanos, are incredibly complex. The medium-bodied flavor profile offers a tantalizing journey ranging from floral notes to baking spices.

Unico means unique in Spanish, and the lively blend of Vuelta Abajo long filler and a deep chocolate truffle-like wrapper, give you a Pyramide smoke like no other.

Change of my previous reviewWhen I first got a sample of this cigar and tried it, I was disappointed (see my review from Dec 23). Anyway I had one left and I smoked it after letting it in my humidor for almost a year. It simply blew me away. All the bold richness of flavors came bursting, the aroma, the draw, the transition between 1st, 2nd and 3rd Thirds was amazing, this full body pyramid now takes 2nd place after the Upmann N2 and definitely much better than the Monti and the Cohiba ones. Will be ordering a box from Lohanna soon.

Great cigarsI had bought a 25 cigar box. I had some doubts first but I could check the labels, the way it was rolled and I even opened a cigar to be sure it was not a fake one.
