Smoking a Sancho Panza Belicosos
A humble but well-colored cigar, the pre-draw leaves a peppery tang on the lips and is redolent of earth and tea, with undertones of cinnamon and honey.
Belicosos draw well, have a flawless burn line, and produce solid grey ash that clings to the cigar for an inch or more.
The initial third starts strong, but the stick mellows as it approaches the middle third. Predominant flavors of black pepper and caramel slowly take a backseat to more prominent earthy and floral tones.
The middle third is magnificent, and the cigar grows in strength in the final third, becoming a full-bodied cigar at the end with a creamy, spicy finish.

Most torpedoes are heavy-handed in body, but the Belicoso is relatively mild. When aged, however, it grows in strength as it does from the initial third to the final third while smoking.
Since the Sancho Panza brand is less well known, the Belicosos are relatively inexpensive compared with more famous Cuban brands yet provide a complex Cuban experience.

Sancho Panza Belicosos Experience
This tightly controlled smoke is glorious from beginning to end, with strong pepper, oak, and honey overtones at first that give way to woodiness and flowers. It is medium to full-bodied and is incredibly balanced.

Sancho Panza Belicosos are superb cigars, manufactured in a time-honored traditional manner for over a century. They are medium to full strength, featuring creamy, spicy flavors.
Sancho Panza cigars are named after Don Quixote’s companion, and although they sell very well in Cuba, the brand’s name isn’t as internationally known as other Cuban lines. Sancho Panzas are best known for their Belicosos.
Sancho Panza Belicosos Overview
The perfect introduction to a torpedo, the Bellicoso is a surprisingly mild and lively smoke. It’s full of woodsy and earth flavors, and if you age it, the profile ripens to a deep complexity that can have you dreaming of Cuba. It’s a nice-looking cigar with a beautiful Colorado wrapper and a slightly oily sheen.

This was my first purchase from Swiss Cuban Cigars. To my surprise, the cigar looked, smelled and tasted as original Cuban Cigar. I smoked it the very-very end. Nice easy draw, even burn just perfect Sancho Panza. The only drawback was the packaging. It came wrapped in the thin envelope paper which was all ripped and taped with scotch tape. Miraculously, all cigars were intact and not damaged. I will buy from Swiss Cuban Cigars again and hopeful that this time it will come in the carton box.Response from store Thanks for your comments. Thought I'd give these a try, I read somewhere they had a nick name of "The Dirty Socks" well I think that's a bit harsh. My cigar had good draw and construction and smoked really well, last third was a little bitter so I'd rate the experience as good, not great. Going to lay down the rest for a year and have another go.Response from store Thanks for your comments. We appreciate your opinion.
