The service from the company and the quality of the cigars was excellent, as usual but I had to wait 6 weeks for the cigars, held up in UK customs with £73 to pay in duty and VAT. With the Brexit changes the delays and customs duty will likely go up further. Even so the price is considerably less than purchase from a UK provider. I think my shipment was dried out sitting in a customs office. The box wasn't sealed in an airtight plastic bag as some shippers use.

I have enjoyed many Juan Lopez cigars from Nicaragua and Honduras, so was looking forward to trying these Cubans. I was very pleased with the complex flavors from the Seleccion No.2 robusta. Since I don't have any time frame for my life at this point - I am smoking the box now instead of waiting the recommended 10-15 year aging suggestion! Even at this age, they are some of the very best cigars I've smoked and I recommend them for the value too.

Montecristo No. 2....what can you say that hasn't already been said. It sets the standard to which all others are compared. Great ash, slow burn, at a price comparable to those made in the Dominican Republic.

This cigar is fantastic. As you would expect, loads of coffee flavor. Slightly sweet. Not much in the way of earthy or woody tones. Perfect cigar with coffee or a good Kahlua and milk.

The Partagas Series E no.2 cigar spells the beginning of a new line in the Partagas family. The Serie E, which has a ring gauge of 54, is a great addition to Partagas. The extra ring gauge suits the intensity of the Partagas blend, giving it a softer, less direct pace but with big flavours throughout.

The fattest Partagás in the regular-production Cuban portfolio is also the best Partagás that I have smoked this month. Traditionalists might scoff at the beefed-up parameters, but it would be a mistake as Habanos has loaded this cigar with plenty of fine, complex tobacco.
