I ordered a box of H Upmann No 2’s and received them promptly. Heard good things about them, and wanted to compare to Monte No 2. Although my game plan was to immediately rest and ate them, I could not resist to try one right out of the box to create a baseline for future expectations. To my surprise, they burn beautifully and tasted incredible, I actually enjoyed it more than the Monte No 2 and can’t wait to see how they perform after resting and aging. Do you have an issue with my order and SCC Customer Service, who immediately resolved the issue. This is my new favorite place to go for some of my favorite cigars! Though it took over 5 weeks for the shipment to arrive in Shanghai, it was well worth the wait. The sticks came in great condition and the one I tried was full of complex and appealing flavors. Can’t wait to find out how they will taste after 2-3 months in the humidor. Oh, yes, the price was great!

The Soberano begins so much more softly than a Bolivar Belicoso. Flavors start for the Soberano flitting between white pepper at the start, then gone, then cocoa, citrusy herbs, and an almost buttery finish. Nearing the end of the 1st third, the cocoa remains dominant though infused with other flavors, including the addition of nuts and a soft leather sense. The smoke is prodigious right after each draw, a beautiful gray white. Flavors are so balanced that those in the forefront keep switching. Cocoa first turns into ever-so-slightly-sweet baking flavors, then to bittersweet, slightly citrus-infused chocolate cake. Then soft leather returns. The wonderfully easy draw is consistent. Best smoke so far! Everything a No. 2 has to offer in but shorter. I smoked this down to the wrapper and the ash held tight until I took the wrapper off. Smoked evenly, smooth and creamy. Loved it!
