Don't get me wrong, this is a fine cigar--we are spllitting hairs here a little. I got some grassy, cilantro notes throughout this cigar that I did not care for. For the money the San Juan is longer, less expensive and only 1 size smaller ring guage. And it tastes way better. Construction and quality equal but the taste of the San Juan WAY better for me than the Rio Seco.

I have tried 3 of the Hoyo de Monterrey cigars now and this one is by far my favorite. The others have a grassy taste and maybe cilantro (which I hate). The San Juan was awesome. Fantastic burn and easy draw with tons of smoke. Very good cigar. I only tried 3 but now will get the box!

These babies are delicious, but unfortunately the box was damaged when it arrived. about 1/3 of the cigars were cracked. Some were salvageable, but there were several that were so cracked you couldn't even get a draw.

Delivered to Spain in less than two weeks and we’ll priced, thank you SCC. Had these babies now one month in my humidor but last night succumbed and cracked open the box. Nothing like opening a box of cigars for the first time, all in great condition with that amazing earthy smell you get from these Robustos. A strong earthy robusto that gave me over an hour of smoking pleasure almost smoked it down to the cap it was that good ,right from the cold draw to the final third.

First time buying cigars online, it actually is a great experience with SwissCuban, and made even better by their customer service Isnela who helped through the all the stages of the process from the shipping to delivery. always professional and courteous. Cigars were delivered in perfect condition with Boveda packets to retain the humidity levels. I still haven't tried the Anejados before but I will definitely leave another review when I do. Just wish @swisscuban would add the H.Upmann Half Corona on their list it is one of my favourite and can't seem to find it.
