Not quite there on this one.Let me premise this review by stating I have ordered many cigars from SSC. All have arrive in excellent condition and have been of exceptional quality. This sample of Partagas Serie E No2 had excellent burn and construction but seemed to be a little green. A little bitter with an ammonia taste, half way through I purged the cigar producing a long an extended flame, after which it improved immensely. I have the same in Tubos ordered recently that are resting in the humidor so look forward to revisiting soon.

A harbinger of delightDespite seldom inconsistency in the box, this cigar is a keeper. This one spent a few long months in one of my humidors, and the result is delightful. The sea salt introduces itself with the first puff, however, those first couple of inches are inconsistent. Beyond the shaky start, it was a tasteful adventure with oak and macadamia swirling around in a milky cup of Darjeeling tea.
