The Partagas marca packs a lot of complexity into this petit robusto. When you want a quick smoke with plenty of power and flavor, the Partagas Serie d no 6 really comes into its own.

It’s remarkable the diversity of flavor Partagas is able to create with barely 30 minutes of smoking.

Partagas Serie D No 6 Overview

At 3.5” and a ring gauge of 50, the Serie D No 6 is the shortest stick in the Partagas brand’s collection. It displays quintissential Partagas flavors, like cedar, vanilla, and coffee with a peppery zing. If you don’t have a lot of time but want a full-bodied cigar, the Serie D No 6 is an ideal choice.

Smoking a Partagas Serie D No 6

The Serie D No 6 presents beautifully with a slightly oily, almost veinless, and seamless triple cap. Like other Partagas sticks, the pre-light aromas include a creamy sweetness with a touch of hay.

This stick does not play coy but brings some big flavors from the get-go. Pepper is predominant in the first draws but this will soon diminish, letting in a cedar taste backed by sweet undertones.

The second third picks up the pace with a punch of peppery dryness and crunchy walnut. The final third mellows as the body fills out with wood and earth flavors.

Cigar Value

This is a robust cigar that mellows a little in a good humidor. After aging, the stick will still be zesty, but the flavors will round out for a more complex profile. Some smokers prefer the in-your-face boldness of such a short stick, especially without aging. Others give the Serie D No 6 to round out further before smoking.

Partagas Serie D No 6 Experience

An excellent choice for a mid-winter stroll, this peppery, woody smoke has a sweet undertone and bundles of personality. With the Partagas quality and consistency, this petit robusto has an extraordinary range for a short stogie.
