The Montecristo No. 2 is a cigar smoking experience that has become a rite of passage for all cigar aficionados.
The Tobacco
Binder and filler tobaccos are selected from Cuba’s famed Vuelta Abajo region located in the province of Pinar del Rio, where climate and soil are ideal for growing rich and flavorful tobacco. A distinctive Colorado wrapper leaf is added to the blend to finish off the Montecristo No. 2’s signature character.
The Factories
Montecristo’s high-grade tobacco is not destined for a single “Montecristo” factory but several factories throughout Cuba. The H. Upmann factory in Nueva Vedado near Old Havana, however, specializes in crafting the Montecristo No. 2. Master cigar makers are skilled in creating elaborate cigar shapes. They assemble the tobacco and place the cigars in specially designed molds to help maintain the No. 2’s unique shape.

Mr.The Montecristo #2 is perhaps the finest Cuban cigar I've ever smoked. Has them years ago and I hadn't seen a good deal on these for many years. I was so happy to see Swiss Cigars have them a a very reasonable price a little over a month ago. I bought them and they arrived very quickly. I was truly surprised. They were in perfect condition and they looked impeccably made. I smoked one for the football playoff championship and I smoked one for the Super Bowl. I gave one to a close friend and we both agreed that this classic cigar is one of the best in the world. If you have an opportunity to get Montecristo #2's , please do. AND get them from Swiss Cigars. You sure won't be disappointed. I also love the personal attention I get from my representative, Oksana.
