Product Description

The Montecristo Edmundo is a modern classic, a mighty cigar with big personality and a vintage Robusto experience.

Launched in 2004, the Montecristo Edmundo delivers a bold and highly entertaining smoke, almost the quintessence of Montecristo’s signature complexity, power and finish.

Montecristo Edmundo Overview

The Montecristo Edmundo was unveiled in 2004 as a response to the call from Montecristo fans for larger ring gauged cigars. Like most Montecristos, its popularity is based on quality, especially of the blend. The Edmundo also combines an iconic size with a certain mystique..

As with all Montecristo cigars, the Montecristo Edmundo uses tobaccos from Cuba’s famous Vuelta Abajo region of Pinar del Rio. These tobaccos are assembled at cigar factories throughout Cuba, including the H. Upmann factory near Old Havana.

With its larger diameter, the Montecristo Edmundo can better showcase the rich complexities of those Cuban tobaccos, especially through the second and final thirds. Adding fuel to the Montecristo legend, the cigar is named in honor of Edmond Dantes, the hero of Alexandre Dumas’ novel The Count of Monte Cristo, from which the brand is named.

I have been buying this one for years. Pairs well with Irish whiskey and bourbon. Equally with highlands scotch and some cognac. Burn is even and full of flavor. Enjoy
