Smoking a H. Upmann Petit Corona
H. Upmann’s signature blend of Vuelta Abajo tobacco is used in every part of the Petit Corona, from the rich dark brown wrapper to the long filler. The lightly-pressed corona shape delivers a smooth, consistent smoke from start to finish, allowing you to take in the complex aromas despite the short 40-minute smoke time. The first draw offers a subtle spiciness and cedar scent that develops into rich caramel notes towards the end of the first third. The second third provides a toasted nutty aroma that blends into a lush coffee and cream taste towards the final third.
Cigar Value
At just over $6 per cigar, or $165 for a box of 25, the H. Upmann Petit Corona comes in at a similar price point to most other authentic Cuban Petit Corona styles. However, the H. Upmann packs a lot of flavor and an exceptional smoking experience into a small package, making it one of the best value Petit Coronas on the market. If you are a beginner and are interested in the very best first cigar to smoke, consider a Montecristo No. 4. Connoisseurs wanting the best Petit Corona money can buy should consider the Cohiba Siglo II, which is a step above the H. Upmann in terms of complexity.

My box of 25 Petit Coronas arrived and as usual, in excellent condition with the Boveda pack. The flavors are tremendous - and as usual, I like to pull one right out of the box and smoke before storing the rest. I see why President Kennedy loved these cigars so much. Thanks again SCC. I will be purchasing another box this year. DavidResponse from store Thanks for your comments. We appreciate your opinion.

Usually I don't write any comments, but this is a special case. To all those who read my message - believe me, this message is not a pursuit of additional points, I just want to convey my opinion to cigar smokers - in case it turns out to be important to someone. This company has minor shortcomings in the organization, but - no, perhaps so - BUT, all the little things are crossed out by a huge and bold plus - ALL cigars from Swiss are of excellent quality. Exactly. Which of the smokers has not encountered the situation when you light a cigar in anticipation of pleasure, but it does not last or is very tightly packed, or some other flaws that completely destroy all the pleasure from the cigar? So - ALL the cigars I got from Swiss are PERFECT. I do not really understand how this can be, but I think that it could not have done without high-class specialists. One of my favorites out of production for a few years. I’m glad they’re back, The best Petit Corona except for Por Larannaga which I can’t find. This was the favorite cigar of JFK. With the Cuban Embargo in his desk unsigned he sent his aids to buy all the Petit Upmanns they could find. They brought back 1400 and he signed the embargo.Response from store Thanks for your comments. We really appreciate your opinion.
