Smoking a Bolivar Royal Corona
Stout with a comforting weight and a smooth wrapper, the Royal Coronas is a stick that invites you to kick back and relax.
The first draw offers billowing tendrils of rich smoke that evoke aromatic mocha and roasted nuts. There’s a satisfyingly even burn throughout the length of the cigar.
Heavy spice with an earthy base note on the first third evolves into mellow pepper and nutmeg on the second third. The spice lifts in the final third with lingering aromas of young cedar.
Cigar Value
Replete with a dazzling array of flavors and a luscious mouthfeel, the Royal Coronas is a gem that you don’t need to age to enjoy. The high quality and modest price point make this a cigar that can be enjoyed anytime.
Bolivar Royal Corona Experience
Complexity and robustness makes this a cigar to enjoy with other aficionados on a warm summer’s eve. Yet, the uncharacteristic smoothness of the cigar makes it an interesting stepping stone for a beginner upgrading to the world of medium-full bodied Cuban cigars.

My Bolivar Royal Corona Robustos arrived today - I am extremely stoked to smoke my first one tonight while I sit the rest for 30 days. I am very curious as to how the Bolivar Robusto stands up to the others I have tried (Partagas Serie D4, Ramon Allones Specially Selected and the Cohiba Robusto to name a few). A huge thanks goes out again to Isnela and the Swiss Cuban team for getting these cigars to me after the first shipment got lost!!!!!!!! Thank you so much. Big Bolivar fan but to be honest not the best looking box I've received from Swiss Cuban. Very light in the wrapper compared to previous BRC's I've received from Swiss Cuban. Quite a few sticks with cracked feet. Tasted a little green. Box code was VET ENE 23 (Jan 23). Which is the youngest box of cubans in my humidor currently. Still smoked well and I'm confident will improve with age so have put them away. Still can't complain at the price.Response from store Thanks for your feedback. I'm a Bolivar fan and have always enjoyed the rich flavor and smoothness of their product. This guy is great when you have less than an hour to indulge. I usually light one up when walking the dog!. Unfortunately about 1/4 of the sticks in the box had split ends but they smoked just fine. Made wonder if they were seconds!Response from store Thanks for your feedback.
